A little Fall Fun!!

It wouldn't be fall without a trip (or two) to the pumpkin patch and this year we headed up to Wheeler Farm with my sister to check out there activities.
We had fun in the hay maze and Karden had to take a picture with EVERY scary thing in the maze.
Whitley well she was a little nervous. She would pose by the scarecrow

But the cobwebs and headstones were a little too much for her.

We had a fun ride on the tractor
and had to pick out the biggest pumpkin we could carry.... ... or after two seconds decide that they were alot heavier that they looked and so

We decided to carry the baby and give the pumpkins a ride. It was a good compromise.


I also had to host Halloween Bunko at my house, and believe me I have the clean baseboard to prove it. :) Its a dress up bunko and the costumes did not disappoint. We had guest appearances by-

we also had a 80's work out girl, a soldier and a "grandma" but I failed to get pictures due to trying to be a good host.

Watch out Preschool..........

Here I come!!!!!

Whitley started Preschool today!! She was extremely excited!!
She got up and dressed at lightning speed and couldn't wait to get there! She got a little nervous when she seen all the other little "strangers" in her class, but quickly warmed up and had a great day!! She has showing anyone that will look at her the picture she colored and has been singing the monkey song she learned!! I think it is going to be a GREAT year!!
I was nervous about the 2 hours of time I will have with NO kids, but today I had a Whole pepsi and I didn't have to share!! I Think I can handle and even kinda like the free time! :)

Family Fun!!

We have had a busy schedule the last few weeks and done all sorts of fun stuff! We went camping up hobble creek canyon. The kids had fun riding around in there powerwheels
and playing war. We also had some playground time
and of course it not camping without sitting around the fire!!

What would I do without my dad!! Some guy a few camps down started yelling at the kids! After a few words screamed back and forth. My dad went down to the camp and had a little "come to jesus" meeting with them. Thanks dad for defending my kids!! What can I say you don't mess with my dads grandkids :)



We also went on our annual Labor Day in Logan adventure!! We did the usual the zoo, , cheese factory, sock factory and LOTS of swimming. The kids had a blast spending 2 whole days with there cousins! So did the adults!! It was a great little getaway! But we missed Barbara and Craig alot. We wished you could of been there :(

1st Day of 1st Grade!!

When did Karden get so big?

He is a big and mighty first grader now!!! This morning he was awake at 6:00 am asking if it was time for school! His second question was what were they eating for school lunch? He was So excited to eat school lunch! He had to practice his lunch number about 10 times this morning while I scrambled to find the school lunch menu online!! ( Its pizza day if anyone is wondering)

We tried to get the first day pictures and he was WAY too excited to stand still!

And again... not much better.



When I drove him to school I parked and walked him in to his class were he proceeded to ditch me at the door and go put his backpack away! I waited until he came out of the coatroom and he just sat at his desk and started to play with the playdough his teacher, Mrs. Larsen, has put on everyones desk. He didn't even look up!~ So Whitley and I left.. I was good until I got to the car and the Dam behind my eyes broke! He is too Little and too innocent and too Little, to go to school ALL Day!!

I am taking it hard and poor Whitley is taking it harder!! It is 10:51 am and I have already found her like this...
waiting for Karden to come home. So sad!

It will be fun to have a little one on one time with Whitley, but when she starts preschool next week, I will have 2.5 hours ALL BY MYSELF!! What am I going to do. I will probally find lots of projects, but right now. It is a little depressing! :)

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!!

Saturday Night we decided to take a little trip to the ballfield. We headed over to watch the Orem Owlz!


Karden loved the game and sat and watched intently the whole game!! He loved the poster and the program he got and would get all excited by finding the picture of the batter!

Whitley loved Cheering for the team.. (even if most of the time it was the wrong team) :)

Don't you hate it when you are trying to take a picture of your cute kids and some weirdo pops up behind you with a scary face

It was a perfect night at the ballpark!!

We got the Hint!!

After Kardens near begging to go the aquarium, we decided if it was on the calendar we better go. So we packed up and headed out.

As always the kids has a ball looking at all the fish,

and most of all being with there cousins!

Whitley decided to be the "Great Frog Slayer" and protect daddy and grandpa Craig from the giant frog.


Karden had a great time and the penguins were his favorite! Even if there were getting a little too close!
