GoodBye Window- Hello Doors!

We have wanted a door into our backyard without having to go into the garage since we bought our house. Well we finally got it done!! It also is a way to keep my little monkeys in check. I will either know that they are in the backyard or in the house. No more going through the garage, getting into whatever the heck Ry keeps in the garage. It will be a lot safer and easier too. So we lost a window but gained a door.

The finished product

It makes my kitchen look so bright and the blinds are inside the window, I think this is neat and have been playing with them. When the guy showed me how them worked I was acting all cool and as soon as he drove away I was running to play with them. Yeah I know it doesn't take much to keep me entertained.

Easter Fun!

Wow Easter has come and gone , We had lots of fun, This is the Whitleys easter outfit, complete with bunny ear bows. It was definatly to cold to wear capris, but you can only wear Easter overalls at Easter so she looked a little strange with capris, socks and shoes and a coat, But she did look festive.

We went on 3 easter egg hunts, 1 in the downpour, but I guess this is what you do for your kids. I don't have pictures because I was holding a umbrella and a 2 year old. This was at Grandma Molly's house the kids had fun finding the eggs. Karden was trying to get the easter eggs from Grandma Mollys fort.
The Easter bunny brought new bikes, toys and too much candy. We even had the bellyaches to prove it.
Of course we got new easter clothes, Everyone said Whitley looked like a ice cream sundae, and she even stayed in Nursery YEAH!!!
Karden looked pretty darn handsome too, but I'm a bit partial :)
Now on to our next adventure.. Easter with the Goshen Clan Next weekend!! I can't wait.

So Tired!!

This is what happens when Grandpa and Grandma take the kids out camping with them while Ry and I are at work.
This was about 5 minutes after we left the campsite. I don't know if you can see but Karden does have his seatbelt on. I didn't even know his armrest went up on his booster seat.
Grandma and Grandpa can take them camping anytime! They slept all night and didn't want to get up in the morning. Thanks Mom and Dad!!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail..

... Hippity, Hoppity,Easter must be on its way.. because we had our annual easter egg dying night. It seems to be more fun every year because the kids get more excited about it as they get older! But Luckily some things never change, Someone always tries to drink the egg dye, thinking it is punch.. This year Whitley was the culprit.
The older boys always get bored and draw not so appropriate pictures on the eggs.( Do boys every grow up?) If you can't tell what is written on the egg it says "crap" along with illustrations, complete with steam.
There is always a few spills
and there always has to be a "Megan and Paul, Best Friends Forever" egg. Yeah I know he looks super excited to be my best friend. He just doesn't know what he is missing. Kardens favorite egg was of course the egg that he turned into a star wars ship. Whitley has a short attention span and after 2 eggs and a drink of the vinegar dye she moved on to something more tasty : Gummy Worms!!

There are lots things I love and dying easter eggs is on my list. It was a great night with lots of laughs and what could be better than knowing tomorrow we will be eating egg salad for lunch!! YUM! YUM!

Disney on Ice!!

*
One of Kardens birthday presents was disney on ice tickets. So yesterday we went to the show. It was worth every penny to see the cheesy smiles of the kids when the show started.
Whitley was so excited fot the "mouse!" and would get really upset when after the introduction of the next little show Mickey and Minnie would leave the stage.
Karden loved the lilo and Stitch part
which I thought was the most boring except for lilos sisters boyfriend who had a serious six pack. WOW!! They both watched the show from start to finish and loved all of it. I loved it too, Ryan not so much. But he was a good sport! It was such a fun day, minus the part when I ran into a pole in front of about 200 people and thought I broke my nose.

* disclaimer - Karden was really excited to be there even if all of his smiles look forced :)

P.S. I registered Karden for Kindergarten today. When Did he get so big! The day was made better when my neighbor Nicki went with me we and then we ate our troubles away over enchilades at Joe's. Thanks for holding my hand Nicki!!

Diez, Dus, Dix, Zehn,Tien,Deci, Dziesiec, Deka, On, TEN!!!

Wow! TOday Ryan and I have been married for 10 years!! It honestly seems like last year that we were going to the Mt Timp to get married. It was a fun day but I'm glad that today I'm sitting in my pjs and blogging instead of getting up at 5:00 am to get my hair done to be at the temple at 7:00 am. I was just looking at our wedding pictures and thinking that we look so young. I was 18 and Ryan was 21. That is probally why we look like babies.(If I could figure out how to scan them in I would post one) We have grown up together, went tons of fun places and seen lots of neat stuff, We have lived in an awful apartment in provo, a really small house in spanish fork and now in our current house. We have went through 5 different vehicles, 2 camp trailers. We have brought two of the cutest and most fun kids into the world and have had humdinger of fights but tons of fun times. But hey we've made it this far!! I have learned what makes Ryan tick and that yes he is genuinely that nice to everyone. But I have also learned if he wants something he cannot think of anything else until he gets it. I have also learned that if he wants to go shooting or somewere else to just let him go. I think Ryan has learned to just leave me alone when I am mad and to feed me when I'm onery and that everyone needs a girls day. I can honestly say that I still love him and I know he feels the same about me. Happy Anniversary Ry- I love you!!

I MUST BE CRAZY...

...To take 7 four and five years old to trafalga to play mini golf.

Karden turns 5 on Tuesday and this year he decided he wanted a "friend" party. He also didn't want to play games at our house but to "go hit the ball to the holes with those sticks" So on Saturday we loaded up Karden, Coltrin and Matty (neighborhood friends), Bryant and Ben (babysitter friends) and Alex and Bradley (cousins) met us at trafalga. We played mini golf first which was a riot. The first couple of holes the kids weren't quite sure what to do and they they got it. Some of the kids have really good swings and can knock the balls to the next hole over. we only lost one ball to the water hazard!
They all did really well. Next was pizza and pop. After lunch it was time to play arcade games.
The boys all quickly found there favorite game and used all there tokens on one game. At least they were happy! After that was over was ice cream and cupcakes.
Last but not least PRESENTS!! Wow Karden was spoiled. He got really nice presents!! Thanks everyone!!
I was a litttle worried about how I was going to handle 7 little boys, but they were all perfect little gentleman. ( well minus the fart jokes and the plastic horse pooping on everyone but at lease I know karden is normal :) It was a fun day!!
