Dancin' Queen!
Whitley has been bugging me forever to let her take dance- all her little friends are in dance and she really wants to do it but I'm not ready for the commitment! So to satisfy her "Need" to dance and my "need" no to have this monthly commitment- we signed her up for the junier drill clinic at Maple Mountain High School!
To say she LOVED it was an understatement- She could shake her booty like no one else in practice- She would come home at night and practice in the mirror- This is her pose she decided to strike at the end of the dance! Yeah she could rock it!!
She was soo excited when it was time for her to dance at the soccer game- But mother nature had other ideas and the hurricane strength winds made them dance in the gym, When it was here turn to dance a strange thing happened she still shook her booty but was much more conservative then she was at practie and maybe she was a little shy- Yes I said it Whitley was Shy! That is a new one for me, Whitley is all loud and loves attention- But a little of her mom came out of her and she still loved it but after she said all the people looking at me made me kinda nervous_

She had a great time and hopefully she got the dancing bug out of her system for a couple of years- now I only hear about dance twice a day instead of the 20 times I was hearing about it before-

Chubalicious!!
I gotta say I love a chubby baby!! I also gotta say Berkley is the cutest Roly poly baby I know!! 
We took her swimming when we were in Logan over the weekend and she was beyond cute in her little bikini!! I love the fact that her cheeks look like shes storing nuts for the winter and it looks like we have put elastics around her arms and legs!!
This picture is so funny to me, just as I snapped a picture of Berkley in her Easter dress she lost her balance on her little round bum and fell backwards. I couldn't delete it because look at those legs. It makes me just want to squish her!! (and I do alot)

Taking Easter to the "Egg"streme!
We seemed to have a marathon Easter this year.
We started the weekend off by dying Easter eggs at Ambers house on Friday night.
only to discover when we had dyed 5 dozen eggs that 2 dozen of them were not boiled. It was a mystery of what eggs were hard boiled and which ones weren't. We learned to start peeling an egg over a bowl just to be safe.
Saturday Morning we were up bright and early to go to the West valley City Easter egg hunt! The kids had fun hunting for treats with there cousins and Berkley even got in on the action.
She made a haul!!
We finished the hunt just in time for Breakfast with the bunny!! The kids were excited to color a bunny picture
and eat breakfast and get to sit on the Easter bunnies lap and get a picture. Berkley didn't quite know what to think about this big hairy animal everywhere she turned.
We then went back to our house for the night and of course the kids had to remember to put out there Easter baskets for the bunny. They decided the best place to put them would be in the bay window on my trunk so the Easter bunny would see them when he first walked in. When we woke up the next morning, Whitley had ran down to the living room to see if the Easter bunny had came... she came up to our room and she was LIVID!! She was so mad that the Easter bunny had Stole her basket, she didn't care she didn't get anything, but why did the Easter bunny steal her basket!! I told her sometimes the Easter bunny plays tricks and to go look around the house, she found the filled baskets down stairs on the couch, Mystery solved!!
As soon as she seen all her loot she quickly forgave that pesky Easter bunny! The kids loved playing with there toys and eating Way too much candy!! Berkley even thought this Easter bunny stuff was pretty fun!
But really, Whose idea was it to give Whitley pom poms?
Pretty soon it was time to get ready for Church. Easter of course means new church clothes.. The kids looked so cute!!
And of course Whitley needed a picture or her and her sister...

After church it was dying more eggs at grandma Molly's house and of course another Easter egg hunt! Whitley got the prize egg that said " Good for one hug from Uncle Paul." Uncle Paul didn't think that was as funny as I did and bribed Whitley with a dollar instead of a hug... everyone was happy!!

Be Prepared!
When Karden Turned 8 the thing he was most excited for was to be able to go to scouts!
Last week he went to scouts for the first time and the moment he got home he was telling me that he needs a shirt and a book and a neckerchieft, etc etc. So we took a little trip to the scout store and 60 bucks later, we were out the door. We took the shirt to Grandma Molly to sew on the patches and got it back just in time for our first pack night.
He got to wear his scout uniform and looked so handsome and grown up! I kept finding him looking at himself in the mirror and checking out all his cool patches. It was funny!
So glad Ryan Loves scouting- Im pretty sure its not my thing! But Scouting is in Kardens blood!! Karden Thinks Being 8 is Pretty Great!!

Powdered Sucker Perfection!!
Berkley has a new favorite treat-Ryan Brought the kids home a treat the other day and brought Berkley a powdered sucker.
She thought it was the best thing ever!! I on the other hand was a nervous wreck watching her eat it!
She sat in her highchair for at least a half hour guming that sucker! She thought she was big stuff!! When I thought she had enough and tried to take it from her grubby little hands she would put her head down and try to hide it from me-
She is a little stinker but we love her!

If you give Megan Some money....
... She is going to start looking around the house, that yesterday was just fine, and realize that the walls are looking mighty dinged and dirty and they need a fresh coat of paint...
When the painters come and paint the basement, up the stairs aand hall then she will go in to the kids bathroom and convince herself that they almost connect so not to look weird the kids bathroom needs to be painted too!
When the bathroom is painted she will them remember that she has always wanted a dark maroon wall in her bedroom, so 6 coats of paint later and after the painter has officially crossed her off the client list for picking such a crazy shade of paint that never looks quite right,
the painting is complete.
But with the new paint she notices how really digusting and nasty the 13 year old carpet is,
so she decided on a quick trip to pick up a light fixture she starts looking at the carpet samples and decides that she likes one, decides to get a quote, and within a week the whole house has new carpet!!
and just in case you were wondering how this whole process turned out to be so easy. It was fine if you didnt need to feed anyone breakfast, lunch or dinner,
or have to use the bathroom,
or need a place for the kids to sleep (yes, there are bunk beds in there somewere)
and heaven forbid anyone comes to visit.
But after night upon night of going to bed at awful hours and making a whole house full of furniture fit into two bedrooms we survived....barely!
Two weeks later we are finally, almost back in order. And of course as we start to put decorations back on the wall, Megan decides she needs a few new pictures to go with the new paint and carpet. So Ryan, being the good guy he is, surprises her with this for there 13th anniversary that they didnt celebrate because they were caught up in moving furniture.
The house looks great and it is now worth it!

BLING!!!!
We finally got Berkley some bling!!
We may have pierced her ears in the backseat of my brotherin laws truck, in a parking lot of planet pizza, during a snowstorm. But it got done, and she looks too cute!!
