Gentleman- Start Your Engines!!

On Friday Karden had his Kindy 500!! We had to make a vehicle out of a cardboard box!!

When the first paper got sent home Ryan told Karden they could make anything he wanted-

Did Karden choose a...

Racecar... Nope,

Semi Truck....No Way,

School Bus...Not a chance!!

Karden decided he wanted -AN ARMY HELICOPTER WITH A SHARK FACE LIKE THE ONE WE SAW AT THAT MUSEUM!!!!- Yeah Ryan was wishing he had phrased his sentence a little different like "Do you want a red or a blue car?"

So construction began, my car was banished to the driveway and the garage was turned into a helicopter manufacturing plant!! Blueprints were drawn, thrown away and drawn again! Missiles and machine guns were painted and an instrument panel was designed. the explanation for the instrument panel- "You need to know how high your flying! (insert rolled eyes here), C'mon Mom! After that I left the work to the boys!! The finished product!

I'll have to say my boys did pretty darn good!!

So with propellers attached and a dress rehearsal on how to get in and out without ripping off the wings
We headed to the school for the program-which was so cute that it made me cry- (insert rolled eyes once again C'mon MOM!)
Then for the big parade were all the kids drove there cars around the entire school!! I don't know who was more proud the kids being the center of attention
or the dads that had spent weeks making a car out of a box!!

It was so cute!! I love My Kindergarten Kid!!

PS: I may be in trouble in a few years.. Whitley is 3 and is already in Love with my cute little neighbor boy, Chase! We are definitely in deep trouble!
