My little Reneesmee!!

Well today was my kids first time at the dentist. We don't have dental insurance so I have been putting it off and off and off. Karden did so good, He sat nicely for the xrays, cleaning and when the dentist checked his teeth he was an angel. I was silently gloating about how well behaved my kids were. This is cake I was thinking when the sweet assistant Erica said it was Whitleys turn. She had me hold Whitley on My lap when she tried to do Whitleys Xrays. This was not happening!! There were no tears just a clenched jaw. Erica tried everything to get Whitley to open her mouth. - Can you Sing like a princess- Through clenched teeth Whitley is humming the tune to ABC'S. Growl like a tiger, bite this cracker- Nothing works. Erica gives up and says she is not even two. We'll be fine without xrays. This is the point that I should have taken my angel boy and clenched jaw princess to the car. But No I decide to follow Erica to the chair and she is going to clean whitleys teeth. We get Whitley in the chair and decide to try to put headphones on her so she can watch "Cars" on the ceiling. The whimpering begins, She gets out the toothpaste and Whitley is trying to escape the chair of doom!! I hold her hands down and Erica starts cleaning away. The wailing begins, followed by the kicking, streaming, thrashing and last but not least the biting. Ouch says Erica. She bit me a good one. We both laugh. She's had her rabies shots I say jokingly. We finish the cleaning. I happen to look at Ericas glove and notice that red liquid is filling the tip of one finger. I at first think it is just the pink toothpaste but upon further evaluation I see it is blood. Whitley Brought Blood with one Bite. I say to Erica are you bleeding? She says no one has ever brought blood before, and they she looks at her hand and adds "Until today" I am mortified. My daughter just bit someone hard enough to bring blood. As I am scanning the room to find the closest exit. the Dentist comes in to do a exam. She is fine until hand is in mouth and than the excorsist baby appears again. The doctor finishes the exam and says all is well and laughs and says she may be the strongest one year old I have examined. I don't think that was a compliment. I gather are things and head to the exit. I stop to pay on the way out and the receptionist says see you in 6 months. Okay I say As I am now running to the exit. i"m no thinking Hopefully Ericas finger has healed by them. As we walk out the door I look down to see Whitley waving and blowing Kisses to the receptionist. What a morning!!
