On Mothers Day we decided to go to the lake and fly kites. The weather was really nice and if you can believe it there were NO bugs! Yeah!! Whitley loved to fly kites for about 3 minutes before she spotted the chips and then lost all interest.
Karden attention span was more like 5 minutes before he spotted the water and spent the remainder of the time throwing rocks in the lake.
We also had a picnic lunch, and Whitley became obsessed with going "potty in the rocks!" Have you tried to teach a little girl that they cannot go potty like her big brother. (A big thank you to Grandma Linda for that one.) I figured out to just hold her up, she thought it was so cool and was almost forcing herself to go. I think she went like 6 times in 1.5 hours!! But at least we went home in dry pants, so all was well.
What a fun way to spend mothers day, surronded by my favorite people!
